  • Coshocton

Coshocton has a population just under 40,000. The downtown area boasts buildings and landscapes, as they were once built. There are several wineries just a short drive from Coshocton County, along with shops and restaurants to visit.

  • Dayton

Ohio's sixth largest city, Dayton is a city rich in inventive history, with more patents than any other town in the nation, and the birthplace of aviation pioneers, the Wright brothers. There are several parks and golf courses in the area as well as canoeing, and fishing. Furthering Dayton is also their art institute and symphony.

  • Greenwood

Situated in the hub of the Delta, Greenwood is infused with all that visitors have come to expect from a southern gem? and more. Historic downtown, located on the banks of the Yazoo River, is complete with carefully restored buildings which escort guests back in time. Restaurants offering home-style southern cuisine sit proudly next to chic boutiques, fine dining restaurants and eclectic art galleries. Visitors are encouraged to park the car, and walk this lovely downtown.

  • Oxford

Oxford's colorful downtown, centered on courthouse square, exemplifies southern charm. Chic boutiques, diverse art galleries, upscale bookstores, casual cafes, and active pubs are just a few of the finds visitors will discover here. Although much of the city was destroyed by fire in 1864, a remarkable number of historic homes and buildings remain and a walking tour makes for a fulfilling afternoon. When evening approaches, excellent choices in dining abound. Oxford is the home to the University of Mississippi

  • Philadelphia

Our founding fathers signed the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, making it a popular host for history seekers and city lovers alike. As the state's largest urban spot, Philadelphia offers an array of shopping and antiquing, historic monuments and state parks and the state's largest museum, The Philadelphia Museum of Art. An hour from New York City and the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia is prime for planning a multiple destination trip, sunning, shopping and sightseeing all at once.

  • Starkville

Starkville was settled by those flocking to the area because of its great springs and accommodating terrain. Starkville today features some wonderful historic districts. The Cotton District has a collection of enchanting homes boasting beautifully maintained yards, quaint porches, and inviting walkways. The Overstreet Historic District offers an eclectic mix of architecture built during the post-Civil War era. Downtown Starkville today sports a number of lovingly restored brick storefronts, which house a diverse collection of shops. Starkville is also home to large Mississippi State University. Nearby Noxubee National Wildlife offers nature lovers a variety of wildlife, and is an excellent outlet for bird watching.

  • Tupelo

When visiting Tupelo's historic downtown, it is easy to get a feel for times gone by. Multi story brick buildings sporting colorful awnings sit along tree-lined streets and house a variety of goods. Original art, endless antiques, interesting bookshops, and eclectic to fine eateries are just some of Tupelo's best finds. There's no doubt that Tupelo is mighty proud to be the birthplace of Elvis Presley. The Elvis Presley Park and Museum, set on 15 acres, features The King's birthplace, a diverse collection of memorabilia, a chapel, and garden walk. Another fun and unique stop is Tupelo Buffalo Park. As the name implies, this park features buffalo- in fact, the park boats the largest buffalo herd East of the Mississippi River.

  • Wayne National Forest

The only national forest in the state, it surrounds Athens, Marietta and is west of Gallipolis. The forest sprawls over 250,000 acres of Appalachian hills and spans over 800,000 acres total. The forest boasts covered bridges, camping sites, the Buckeye Trail for biking and walking, and fishing and boating for water lovers.

  • Yellow Springs

Yellow Springs is an interesting and quite liberal town of only 4,000 people. Yellow Springs is best known for being a bit "hippy" with unusual shops and restaurants. Rock climbing and hiking are a preferred way to relax in Yellow Springs.

  • Zanesville

Zanesville is about an hour east of Columbus and houses approximately 25,000 residents. Blue Rock State Park is to the south of town and Muskingum River Parkway State Park is to the north offering campsites, hiking trails and biking and the largest state park in Ohio, Salt Fork is in nearby Cambridge.
