There are several dispersed camping areas at the Lower Trailhead near Lost Creek. A toilet is also located at the Lost Creek dispersed camping area. Water is available along two-thirds of the trail’s length.

Access #1: From Coeur d’Alene, Idaho drive east on I-90 taking the Kingston Exit #43. After exiting, travel north on Forest Highway 9 (FH9) 23 miles to Forest Road #208 (FR208). Follow FR208 for 4.7 miles, turning right at Lost Creek FR442.
