Sports fans might know Cinncinati for its baseball and football, but before game time there are amusement parks, museums, expansive state parks and one of the nation's best zoos to keep travelers busy.
Try this trail in the muddy dampness of spring or the slick snow and ice of winter for an extremely challenging experience. If "challenging" is enough for you, Slaughterhouse Gulch is still quite rough, a route of steep stretches and plenty of rocks. One, Poser Rock, can quite handily flip you on your side if you're not careful. Try the Mud Pits for a bit of a "bath" for your jeep - but don't get stuck. "Whoopdeedoos" or dirt moguls are scattered everywhere along this trail.
