Communities

Fairfield
Offering an eclectic mix of one-of-a-kind attractions and culture, Fairfield leaves visitors surprised by its diversity. Home to the original Jungle Jim’s International Market, Wake Nation, and a renowned arts center, Fairfield hosts attractions and events that are truly unique.

Hamilton
Named the “City of Sculpture”, Hamilton is known for the works of public art dotting the city’s streets and downtown walls. Spend some time strolling downtown to explore the locally owned boutiques and restaurants, and finding or creating one-of-a-kind pieces. Cruise up the hill to Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum to immerse yourself in art in nature, where 80+ monumental sculptures are displayed amongst 300+ acres of nature. Liberty Township
Located just north of West Chester, Liberty Township is an emerging area with brand new development, as well as agritourism adventures. Middletown
Nestled along the Great Miami River, Middletown has become a hub for artists and eclectic shops and restaurants. Monroe
Straddling I-75, on the western side of Butler County, Monroe has emerged with extensive new investment and development over the past few years. Home to the Cincinnati Premium Outlets, the region’s premier outlet center, and Miami Valley Gaming, a casino/horse race track combination, people visit Monroe to bet on the ponies and shop, shop, shop all in one afternoon. Not to be missed in Monroe, be sure to visit Rivertown Brewery & Barrel House to enjoy delicious BBQ and exceptional craft brews.

Okeana & Shandon
These quiet and peaceful retreats are located in Southwestern Butler County. Okeana and Shandon are marked by a rich agricultural heritage, two quaint antique shops, and Salty Dog Museum, a classic car museum hailing well-known classics including Model As and Model Ts. Oxford
Home to Miami University, Oxford is a charming college town with boutique shopping, delicious locally-owned restaurants, a quaint downtown, and all the arts, culture, and sports events that come along with a nationally-renowned university. A local favorite is Bagel & Deli Shop, famous for their steamed bagel sandwiches that are full of personality. Set in the peaceful and tranquil Northwestern section of Butler County, Oxford makes for a trendy, yet relaxing getaway.

Trenton
Located in the Northeastern area of the county, Trenton has a hometown welcoming feel, with a variety of unique experiences. Barn-N-Bunk, a locally owned farm market, offers an array of farm fresh produce, Amish goods, and crafts. Barn-N-Bunk’s beautiful painted silos depict the story of the farm’s owners, the Theobalds. Also located in Trenton you will find Martin’s Donuts! This cheery pink donut shop, is part of the delicious Butler County Donut Trail.

West Chester Township
