Zanesville is about an hour east of Columbus and houses approximately 25,000 residents. A nice stop on the highway to more populated regions. Zanesville is a scenic locale in the midst of the mountains.
Blue Rock State Park is to the south of town and Muskingum River Parkway State Park is to the north offering campsites, hiking trails and biking and the largest state park in Ohio, Salt Fork is in nearby Cambridge. Zanesville has two arts centers, and is well known for glass, pottery and the famous Longaberger Basket Company.
Zanesville is accessible via I-70 toward Columbus and U.S. 40 with I-77 running through Cambridge toward Cleveland north/south.
