Akron is situated between the Ohio River and Lake Erie and houses just over 215,000 residents. At the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area, a pristine countryside awaits, full of hiking trails, waterfalls and farms that create the draw. Sandusky is best known for Cedar Point, a colossal amusement park with some of the highest and fastest roller coasters in the country. Sandusky also offers a historic downtown section with architecture reminiscent of the early 1900's. Golf, swimming, fishing and boating are all available along the beaches of Lake Erie.
